Here's the latest news from Troop 770:

Scoutmaster's Message

Scouts & Parents,
It was a damp weekend at Bear Creek Lake, but the Scouts made some great meals and knocked out some advancement requirements. I hated to not go to First Landing, but it turned out to be the correct decision--winds there were very high while we had almost no wind at Bear Creek Lake. And we got a bonus program from the rangers at the park about tracking animals and the history of land conservation!  Pics here. Let me know if you have any other pictures!

Don't forget the troop committee meeting tonight at 7pm at RRPC. Remember, all parents are welcome to attend!

After the meeting tonight, we will need a few parents to stick around for a Board of Review. Other Boards of Review will be scheduled for 5pm this coming Sunday, October 4--we need parent volunteers.

Thanks to Heather Gavin for setting up a counselor to teach Fishing Merit Badge. I think there are one or two more spaces left (12 Scouts is the maximum). Info below.

Don't forget to sign up to drive for Scouting for Food (below). Also, Philmont registrations are due Thursday at the Council.
See those of you coming to the committee meeting tonight!
